1月29日に，毎年恒例，駒場リサーチキャンパス新春駅伝大会が開催されました．
On January 29, the annual Komaba Research Campus New Year Ekiden Relay Race was held.
桑野研からは「初志貫徹」と「明日やろうは馬鹿野郎」の2チームが出走しました．
From the Kuwano Lab, two teams participated: “Shoshi Kantetsu” (“Carry Out One’s Original Intent”) and “Ashita Yarō wa Baka Yarō” (“Saying ‘I’ll Do It Tomorrow’ Makes You a Fool”).

運動不足の学生も多い中，みんな頑張って走りました！走った後は豚汁・コーンスープに舌鼓です！
Even though many of our students don’t exercise regularly, everyone pushed themselves and ran hard! After the race, we enjoyed delicious tonjiru (pork miso soup) and corn soup.
次回大会（来年）でのタイム向上を目指し，研究室内にランニング同好会が結成されそうです．私が卒業した後の桑野研では，日常的・継続的な運動が行われていることでしょう．
A running club may soon be formed within the lab, aiming to improve our times for next year’s race. I’m sure that after I graduate, the Kuwano Lab will continue to enjoy regular, ongoing exercise as part of daily life.
