We went to Hokkaido to join JGS 59th Conference.
The conference was held in Asahikawa for three days from July 23 to 25.
B4 students who participated in the B3 seminar last year also joined us.
Although one student suffered from health problems in the middle of the schedule, all were able to successfully complete their presentations!

On July 26, we participated in fieldwork to think about the global environment, guided by Prof. Watabe of Hokkaido University.
We walked along unfamiliar alpine flora and strange rocks to reach the summit of Mt. Asahidake.
Mt. Asahidake is over 2,000m above sea level, and because of the strong wind, many students were freezing…
Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day.
So, I will conclude with a photo that we would have seen if the weather had been clear, which was given by Prof. Watabe.
