An informal geotechnical seminar was held at IIS on November 28.
Members of Yamaguchi Univ., Hong Kong Polytechnic Univ., Memorial Univ, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Geo search were participated.
There were presentations on subsurface cavities, internal erosion, and buried pipes.
All presentations were interesting and the discussions were very lively.
After lunch, we took a tour of our laboratory and presented our research.
It was a good experience for us to learn about research trends at domestic and international universities.
