3/24-25に卒業式が行われ、3/24に送別会を行いました。
The graduation ceremony took place on 24-25 March and a farewell party was held on 24 March.

M2の原さん、堀之内さん、B4の佐藤彬がそれぞれ修士や学士の学位を取得しました。
おめでとうございます！
送別会では、この春より就職する堀之内さんと、2022年度限りで引退される佐藤さんの門出をお祝いしました。
堀之内さんは、修士課程で桑野研に配属され、2年間火山性土の原位置試験の研究を行われました。
突然音信不通になって周りの人を心配させることもありましたが、ムードメーカーとして研究室を盛り上げ、特に現地調査では大活躍でした。
佐藤さんは60年に渡り生産技術研究所に勤められ、数々の革新的な実験装置を開発されました。
装置に散りばめられた工夫の数々や、昔の伝説的なエピソードをお聞きするのが大変楽しかったです。
今後もぜひ、研究室に遊びにきていただければと思います。
桑野研でそれぞれ博士課程と修士課程に進む原さんと彬は、これからもいっしょに楽しく研究していきましょう！
M2 students Hara-san and Horinouchi-san and B4 student Akira-san received their master’s and bachelor’s degrees respectively.
Congratulations!
At the farewell party, we celebrated the departure of Horinouchi-san, who will start working this spring, and Sato-san, a technician who will retire at the end of the academic year 2022.
Horinouchi-san was assigned to the Kuwano Laboratory as a master’s student and conducted research on in-situ testing of volcanic soils for two years.
Although he often worried people around him when he suddenly lost contact with them, he was a mood-maker and enlivened the laboratory, and was especially active in field research.
Sato-san worked at the Institute of Industrial Science for 60 years and developed numerous experimental devices.
It was great fun to hear about the many ingenious ideas scattered throughout the equipments and legendary episodes from the past.
We hope that you will continue to visit our laboratory in the future.
We also look forward to further success for Hara-san, who is going on to a doctoral course at the Kuwano Laboratory, and for Akira-san, who is going on to a master’s course! Let’s have fun researching together!
